Territory Families provides a whole-of-life approach to children and family support services through a diverse, yet connected, range of front-line delivery and advocacy functions.
As a Team Leader in the Youth Outreach and Re-Engagement unit you are responsible for the supervision, training and development of a multi-disciplinary team involved in the delivering of statutory and non-statutory family, welfare and youth justice services.
Your duties include undertaking statutory responsibilities and exercising delegations under the Care and Protection Act 2007 and the Youth Justice Act in accordance with the Agency’s policies and procedures.
Ideally, you will hold relevant tertiary or vocational qualifications that facilitate eligibility for membership of Australian Community Workers or Social Workers Associations; a sound understanding of the principles and functions of supervision, and the ability to communicate complex issues to a wide range of people and groups.
